Last month bought a Colt 6920 HBPW. I like it. Was thinking another 14.5” PW upper to keep as a spare or for “just in case/someday” is something I’d like to do ... but those few I see cost almost as much as NIB complete 6920 HBPW.
Meanwhile caught the Small Arms Solutions vid re: SAS C8 SFW, and it kinda’ made sparks fly in my head. Bravo Company has the uppers in stock right now. I can’t find any complete BCM-made C8 clones for sale.
What would be better:
A. Buy a second 6920 HBPW rifle as a spare (LGS has them). Or...
B. Buy a BCM C8 SAS SFW upper and add handguards, CH, and keep as spare. Or...
C. Build a rifle clone C8 SAS SFW for another complete carbine?
(I am leaning toward B)
