View Full Version : *** GROUP BUY *** New Centurion Arms Billet Upper & Lower Receiver Set
The group buy/ first release is $325 for the Centurion Arms upper and lower matched billet set of 5.56 (300BLK) receivers.
Stripped means there is no dustcover or forward asssist installed on the upper, or Lower Parts Kit or anything else installed on the lower. Stripped means stripped, please don't claim you thought it came with a BCG or barrel, or anything like that.
Below is my personal set, which is built up wearing a MK12 barrel cut to 16", and wearing Trijicon glass.
If you have interest, go ahead and post, you won't get locked into anything. This is going to be opened up pretty soon. I know its right around Christmas, but you deserve nice things.... at least that is what I tell myself.

Great offering Stick! A few weeks ago ordered my first Centurion Arms rail (original CMR Gen 2) and it has become my favorite by far. Truly a great looking set!

These look great, thank you. To be clear, are these receivers machined from billet or further machines from a forging? Also, are they (especially the upper) reinforced in any way? Just curious

Yes, these are machined from billet, they are not cut from forgings. They certainly appear to be reinforced in the right places.

I spoke with Monty yesterday, and we are both of the opinion (based on feedback of some people) that doing this right after Christmas doesn't make much financial sense. With that in mind, the group buy will be open to everyone until after SHOT Show. Stating you are interested or are down for a set does NOT lock you into a purchase. It just makes it easier for Monty to figure what sort of numbers he is looking at.

Well, they don't forge the forgings, or crank out the actual billet themselves in house, but if we are talking about the machine work part, yes it is in house.

Dang, so much good stuff coming from CA. Since I already have the forged set I think I will have to drop out of this buy and save the coin towards the coming 7.62 and barrel. Blame it on Corrie’s tease.

I know Monty is getting complete weapons together, so I’m guessing this fell by the wayside. I will bring it up again as I knew he liked the idea of doing it, so he might have just forgotten.
I really wanted a MK11 set if you can get those included in the group buy.

I hope he has been too busy filling orders for complete rifles to think about it, that would be good for him.
Although, I wouldn't blame him if some of the complaints about the lowers he gave us a deal on left a sour taste in his mouth.
My wife likes the rail and lower just fine, she did the logo on her lower in white to match the rail.
