Need a smith in Missouri that can...

Need a reputable smith that can cut and thread a barrelled action (rem 700). I want to keep the barrel that is on the rifle, just want to take 6" off of it and ensure the threads are concentric to the bore. I'm willing to drive a couple hours, KC, St Louis, Tulsa, etc.

Cherokee is already out, dunno the other shop. I'm going to ask about it at 417guns and Eagle Armory this week.

Mike Klos at Eagle Eye in Wentzville, MO (just outside of STL) is pretty well known in the NFA world and is regarded as a good machinist and gunsmith.
