View Full Version : Joined the Baer family today
Man,
I am excited. This TRS is super smooth and will like eating the .45's I have waiting for it!! I have read too many guys saying there Baers we're so tight they couldnt even press check them. Well, this one aint! Simple, functional, and ready to get the blue worn off

welcome to the family!! i'm certain that you'll love it.
Man! This gun don't run like my other 1911's!!! Sure, I have a few but this is by far the slickest/most hardy feeling of the bunch. Ran about 100 rounds through her today without a single FTF, FTE, of FTLock Slide Back
UMMMM UMMMM....Feel Like Chicken Tonigh, Chicken Tonight!
I was very close to picking up a TRS. Just picked up a NHC GRP Recon and have an STI Tac5.0 on its way. The TRS is still high on the list. I have only heard good things about them. Nice pick-up! ;)

Mine just went for sale officially on Calguns
Have a coupla Ed Browns. Know what you mean, those other lower cost brands just don't tick like a Rolex does.
I'm quite sure you will be very happy with it as mine has been great so far. Most of the tightness in the Baer 1911s come from the barrel to bushing fitting and not the slide to frame fitting as most people think.

This has been pretty much been my EDC for years. Hammer follow out of the box (simple fix); hasn't skipped a beat since. (Amost 60K+ rounds).

That's how a 1911 should look! Nice honest wear from use.
