i was told today that i cannot put an m16 bcg in my semi auto ar without violating a law. is this true. also, i was able to pic up a stag lower today, last one locally. how hard will it be to find an upper in the coming months. thanks

Not true.

There is no problem wit putting an M16 BCG in your AR.

No, many manufacturers ship rifles this way from the factory ;)

This question as been beat to deaf all of the net for awhile now. Bottom line is that its perfectly legal. Unless a rifle fires more than 1 round with a single pull of the trigger, it really dont matter about the bcg ext.

And like the about post, Most of the major brands ship with the M16 BCG.

Yes, its fine.

A good friend of mine that is a Sheriff Deputy said it was ok, as long as no fire control group parts were M16.
