Hello everyone, what is the "best" h2 buffer for a 10.5in pistol/SBR? Im looking to have a back up one, just in case my regular carbine buffer doesn't work.

Thanks,

Chris

It's tough for me to imagine there's too much separating H2 buffers if going from any well known manufacturer...

But I will say I just swapped a BCM H2 buffer into my 11.5" BCM Pistol and it made a world of difference compared to a carbine buffer ( using 55 gr federal ammo). Went from "choppy" (there's a better word I've heard to describe it but I'm blanking on it) to what feels like no recoil.

I've just always bought either the Colt or Brownell's buffers from Brownell's.

Thanks for the reply! I like BCMs gear, great quality! Ill check it out. Thanks again!

+1 for Colt buffers. They're all I use now. Some other buffers that I've seen on the shelf come in bags that say "Made in China." Why take a chance?

Completely agree with Five_Point_Five_Six on this.

I use Spikes and Kaw Valley Tungsten Powder H2 Buffers. Like both, negligible difference between the two except price. Kaw Valley being cheaper.

Solgw has them for under $30 and they have quality parts.

Shark arms has Colt ones in stock I believe

There is lots of Chinesium out there. Colt does not make buffers. SIONICS, SOLGW, and BCM are all quality sources for buffers in addition to Colt. Whether an H2 is ideal for you particular barrel is anyone's guess.
