Only the Brave (2017) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Only_the_Brave_(2017_film))

I realize this came out two years ago, but I couldn't find anything on it here. This movie is about the Granite Mountain Hotshots who almost all died in the Yarnell Fire in 2013.

It is an excellent film, and does these men a great honor. If you are military/first responder, the crew will feel ultra-realistic to you, as it was acted out by men who had to have spent time with real Hotshots. Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men), James Badge Dale (The Pacific), Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski), Taylor Kitsch (Lone Survivor), and Miles Teller (Whiplash) make for a helluva cast. I warn you, prepare cry at the end. I also warn you, prepare to go haze yourself in a massive workout afterwards because we are not worthy of such sacrifice (I'm weird, I know).

It's free on Starz, or a few bucks to rent on Prime. Well worth it.

I’ve watched it a couple times. Good movie.

I rarely, if ever, watch a movie twice. I think I'll watch this one again.

That really was an excellent telling if an amazing story. All content. No fluff. Lots of grit.

... and yes, I got choked up at the end (both times)...
