What's your " go to " source for paper training targets?

I mostly get the 100-packs of B-27E silhouettes off of Amazon, and buy various sizes of shoot-n-c bullseyes or other smaller targets locally.

I use 9" paper plates that have been used and are in not too bad condition. I figure if I can put all my pistol rounds from point blank to 15 yds. rapid fire, and all my rifle rounds from 5 to 100 yds. offhand, unsupported rapid fire into a 9" circle, then someone is going to get hurt, and it won't be me! I don't use a marker to put on an aiming point. Bad people don't have bullseyes on their clothing.

I use these a lot too, along with their 3, 6, and 8 inch bullseyes and neon 3x5 cards.

Xerox printer paper with a black dot drawn in the middle, or paper plates. If you can keep all rounds on those out to 25yds, you can probably shoot.

Excellent - thanks. Scenario and training targets as well as plastic backers...exactly what I was looking for.

vicious, I like your style. Except, I can't eat off an index card! I'll just cut the the paper plates into thirds and call it good.

American Target Company is an excellent source for targets.

If you are training for a real life encounter, the target has to be torso shaped - it's a rule. :)

I use these guys, every once and a while they have blems/non-competition certified targets on special: https://www.targetbarn.com/ They are also the go to for pasters.

Another good source is Qualification Targets they have one of the wider selections, including bullseye, state qual targets as well as friend/foe, etc. https://www.targets.net/

For most anything precision, work has a nice copy machine. Found some nice 1/2" and 1" red squares on line, think free targets or whatever. The other places like Target Barn and Pistoleer work for a nice selection.

Since I was introduced to shooting when I was young via old fashioned NRA Bullseye, I have always used targets from that (I’m only 44:D) When I got into non precision pistol shooting I settled on the B-6 which has a 5 1/2” bullseye area. I either print them from a free internet file or cut one down to 8.5 x 11”. and make photocopies. I don’t think I have actually payed for targets in years. The black area is also roughly the same size as an IDPA -0 zone. I shook mostly at a gun club that is heavily into IDPA so most use those cardboard targets and replace the centers or tape misses.

I like the smaller black area as I am a HUGE believer in “aim small miss small”. Large targets areas are, IMO, why even most people, even those highly trained in firearms (far more than myself), are terrible shots.

For rifle I use the larger 50 yard pistol NRA Bullseye target repair center.

A couple of years ago I snagged a bunch of alt C targets when we were doing M4 qualifications, I think I have two or three left, should have grabbed more when we qualed a few weeks ago.

I made a template from a Yavapai Firearms Academy target (silhouette with chest, T, and pelvic zones) and figured out it drops on to the rolls of kraft paper used for house painting. Just outline a few with a sharpie and go.

I scanned a B-8 repair center onto an 8.5x11 piece of paper, then print out copies. Keep everything in the black.

Done.

These are some of my favorite printouts. They seriously helped my shooting when I transitioned to an RDS pistol:

3x5 file cards are the ultimate shooting redpill.

You stop caring about silhouettes and headshots/heartshots/spine shots and focus more on THE SHOT.

Pistol and rifle work, makes no difference. If you can slam 3x5 at 50 with a pistol or 100 with a RDS/iron sight rifle then there isn't much you cannot do or build upon.

I don't even bother with IPSC targets anymore unless I am doing actual IPSC.

I also love me some DEA Dot Torture.

I personally find the photoreal targets beneath me and kinda rookieish

4 inch paper plates for head 8 inch for center mass, also old political yard signs are great for easy light stands that are portable.

In addition to many other things- I save & use the round cardboard from frozen pizzas....can paint them or use Sharpies to draw targets on them.

They became action target which another member linked to on the first page. Not sure if same company but I get redirected there when typing in LETargets, which was my go to before. Based off of their products, I think they are the same people.

Damn! I'm gonna have to switch from my favorite frozen pizza, "Red Baron". They don't come with the cardboard disc. Then again, I can draw rings on the inside of the box.

Sorry to burst your bubble Firefly, but it's not Hunt Bros. It's actually Nick's Italian. The owner is a friend of mine and served in the Marines.

Just looked it up, nice targets. Our nearby one wasn't doing that before new owners killed the whole country store off several years back

If your doing your job to support the 2A by introducing new people to safe firearms experiences and you've been paying atttention to today's youth, a paper plate isn't interesting compared to the Xbox. I like to use a mix of steel and fun graphics to help plant the seeds of our 2A future for young and new shooters.

Oh yea. No argument there, steel is a lot more fun, but the OP specifically mentioned paper.
