Question on SIG M17

I haven't seen any close-up pictures of US military M17's, but The civvie M17's have the "SIG SAUER" and "M17" markings on the slide. And no UID label that I've seen. Do .mil weapons differ from this?

By UID label, you mean the scannable square by the serial number, the civilian models do indeed have this, and I expect the military ones do as well. Saves time and trouble (and errors) transcribing serial numbers.
