Stupid question, but I'm asking anyways:

How big of a gap between the receiver halves (at the rear) is normal?

The BCG pushes the buffer off of the detent, everything operates as normal and there is no unusual wear.

I just noticed it and it is the largest of any of the rifles I own. I don't expect to have any issues, but it is another way for dirt to get into the rifle.

It’s nothing. Non issue. Rock on.

I have big wobble in some very little in others. You could waiste your money and buy a wedge, I think it’s called.

But you are GTG

Thanks.

This upper/lower combo actually has very little wobble (to me). Any wobble that is present is a non-issue. I was just asking about the gap itself; if it was normal or as you said, a non-issue.

I don't think it matters but I would call that a "dead cat gap".....Gap large enough to throw a dead cat through! Usually used to describe a poorly fitted rear sight on a pistol.

Looks fine.

BCG should push the buffer off the detent. The detent is only there to keep the buffer in the tube when you open up the rifle.
