I ordered a 5.45 MP carbine today and I'd like to put an Ares gas piston system on it.

Do you fellas think it will work?

Should have no problem working in any CAR length gas system AR.

Thanks. I was kinda thinking that since they had made adjustments (gas port size I would guess) to make it function with a 5.56 gas tube and bolt carrier group that it therefore could accept a piston system designed for a 5.56 also. I think the only difference is in the bolt face to accept the 5.45x39 case, but other than that I believe it's the same.
