Just picked up the latest issue of Surefire's Combat Tatics magazine. Several articles of intrest;
The FN Scar
Sandbox test: M4, Scar, HK 416
AR vs AK
M4 and AR's in service.

I just picked it up but have not had time to read any yet, just wanted to let you guys know it was available for those who may be interested. I find it hard to get turned on by gun rags anymore but I just couldn't resist this one. Too many things that I have an intrest in. Now, time to hit the book:D

The interesting thing is to see how few manufacturers meet the same standard as the mil-spec Colt. Basically only the LMT with the most minor differences (not parkerizing under the front sight post, for example.)

Makes me glad that I chose LMTs.

Wow, you actually wrote it. I saw the chart but did not notice it's author. I was hoping they gave credit for the chart where it belongs this time, I guess they, uh, you did:D

Read the first article on the SCAR, starting the second article on the AR now, can't wait to get to your article. Good job, thanks for everything youv'e done to educate us.;)
