LOS ANGELES — Federal and local agents seized more than 1,000 weapons Wednesday at a home in one of the richest neighborhoods in the country, authorities said.

Average home price in that neighborhood is 17 million, guy was 52 years old and likely well off, I suspect this was an enthusiast/collector with lots of money who got a little carried away over the years.

Which means he'll likely have a sizable war chest with which to fight his case. It will be interesting to see what ATF's actual case winds up looking like.
