I'm active-duty Army, currently in lovely Oklahoma. I'm about to qualify with the M4 with CCO (M68). I'm an avid shooter and won't have a problem qualifying, however I am curious about the accuracy of the M4 with the 203 attached. Does anyone have any real world experience or facts regarding the accuracy of the weapon in this configuration? Will it significantly deter a proficient shooter from hitting 40/40?

I forgot to add that my M4 has the 203 attached. There were not enough regular M4's to go around. Hence my concern.

It shouldn't really be an issue. Just be careful shooting from the sand bag. The 203 raises the center of gravity of the weapon allowing it to roll LT/RT. Just maintain a good stable position and you will shoot just fine.

When I was a T/L I carried an M16A2/M203. As telecustom stated the only issue is that you will higher than normal when shooting. I believe that I consistently qualed EXPERT with the M16/M203 when I carried it. At least that was what my DD214 showed.
