A wholehearted "THANK YOU" for all who have served our country.

And praying that they continue to serve the country, not the "ruler.'

Thank God we still have brave men and women who volunteer to protect this country and our freedoms. A heart felt "Thank You" and God Bless, from a 20 year Army Vet.

Mind if I post here?
I was in NAM in '68'. I've added a little weight in the last 40 years. I was in DaNang with I-Corps Direct Air Support Center, a small experimental outfit pioneering the way for todays coordinated air to ground support. A US AirForce Sgt stationed with the 3rd Marine Division as a Combat Analysis Specialist, briefing the Top Commander of I-CORPS, 3 Star Marine General Cushman, and his staff every week on our war efforts. A rare experince for a young airman to meet with Navy Admirals on the beachs of the South China Sea. That war was tough and ugly for most Gi's. Once we drove into the middle of a firefight, and those United States Marines ran out in front of us, falling in the middle of the road, to protect us, guns ablazing in the enemies direction, what a bunch of heros those guys were. I mean!, talk about instantanious coordinated effort, wow.... My thanks to all who've served......

I just had to share. This was taken last September. It was the first time I made a jump since February of 1988 and the first time I ever jumped from a C-23 Sherpa. Pray for the other Partroopers in the picture; they are scheduled to deploy to that big sandbox sometime next year. I was supposed to be deploying with them but was delcared non-deployable for medical reasons. :(

In honor of all our fellow veterans please go to the following websites and watch these excellent music videos.

11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month needs to be remembered and this video should be mandatory viewing at every school and on every TV station. In Canada, UK, and Australia today is called Remembrance Day

Also, another video that is worth watching periodically is Poster Girl by Beccy Cole.
