No panic buying here, but I will admit to buying a Colt LE6933HB (HB courtesy of a trip to SAW) about 3 weeks prior to the election as a hedge again AWB II. Waiting on paperwork now.

On Saturday I picked up 200 rounds of 155gr .40 Winchester Ranger, 200 rounds of 124gr +P 9mm Federal HST, NIB Glock 19 with night sights, and NIB Glock 22 with night sights.
Started buying months ago and stopped short of the election day. M4, mags, ammo, pistols, hicap pistol mags.
Just bought/ordered 20 30 round Pmags in black. Plan to get some more ammo also.
Today I placed an order on a BCM Mid length upper receiver, and a BCM Auto-BCG.
i started buying in may, so im all caught up and wont be doing any "panic" buying.

Started buying 6 months ago, so no panic for me.
Last purchase was a half dozen PMAGS and a half dozen D&H USGI Mags 2 weeks ago just because I could.
I buy ammo every time I find a deal.
5 30rd pmags, 2000rds privi xm193, 2000 rds M2 ball from cmp,got a LMT defender 20000 complete a couple of moths ago.
Working on 2 1911's, LMT lower, 10.5" upper, mags and ammo...par for the course apparantly! Wally

Nothing. I sold ALL my guns and ammunition to some old lady at a gun show. Didn't catch her name, but she seemed nice enough.
All I have now is a "Joe-Biden-Special" Beretta Shotgun and 20 rounds of birdshot. I'm sure that'll be safe, and enough for whatever life throws at me.

I lost everything I had on a boat that I bought before I inspected it for holes. I'm lucky to be alive. What a horrible, tragic boat accident.
I didn't do any "panic" buying. I've been working for the last 6 months to build a second AR and I ordered the last few parts to finish it over the last few weeks. I did order a few PMAGs, but this was all stuff I would have bought regardless of anything going on with the election.
I AM planning to create a small stockpile of spare parts (I have a thread running on that) which I guess you could relate to panic buying.

I've been busy lately... First it was a .223 conversion for my Dillon RL550B. Then it was 10x30rd USGI black teflon mags plus full Magpul upgrades from Bravo Company. I'm glad I have a CCW license because I can have my new M&P45 5" w/Insight Procyon weapon light the same day. The government finally had enough red tape and released my AAC M4-2000 to me for my POF after a 3 month wait. After a little bit of minor FFL hassle I picked up my private party GAP Crusader today. Next week a Schmidt und Bender 4-16x50 from a private party will show up on my doorstep to make the Crusader complete. Now all I need is more ammo and components!

Well seeing as I already have enough ammo and I reload all my brass, I have just been investing in food.
Just pick up a rebuild M1A1 and 100 gallons of napome. Be sure to stock up on lube before 1-20-09 because the (=bad words placed here=) will begin. -GOOD LUCK-

I've been buying throughout the year, but did pick up another 2K of 5.56 on election day and ordered two more LMT uppers this morning. Figured those stripped receivers weren't doing me much good just sitting there.
Got myself a Smith M&P15T and a big box of PMC Bronze! Already had the mags but I do need some powder for the components I have on hand.
Okay, here is my post election buying binge..

I bought a Mossberg 930 SPX on election day and ordered a 7.3" upper for a SBR build I'm going to do for the wife. Election day is also the day that my CCW cleared, I felt kind of funny picking it up that day though.
Although I think buying a bunch of lowers is silly nonsense, I did make one desparation purchase.
I grabbed a Colt M4 upper from Fidelis, that I normally wouldn't have been in a hurry to get. Not necessarily due to ali bama.... just all the booger eaters that are buying everything up.
I bought 6 20 round PMags and 6 more Lancers the other day. I really needed the 20's as I onyl had 2 and I like the 20's when shooting prone off the bipod.
A couple weeks ago got another LaRue Aimpoint mount, somemore XTM panels, and a KNS pin set.
Next on the agenda is some misc. small parts - I'm lacking in pins, springs, etc. that would be good to keep on hand. I also want to transform my older RRA, non-chrome lined carbine into a total "KISS" rifle, giving it a BCM or LMT bolt, a BCM carry handle, and a Sully stock. Soemthing to play with.

While all my fellow dealers have been concentrating on none NFA weapons, I have been putting large purchase orders in for them. If there is a ban, people will be able to do whatever they want with them. ;)

I managed to talk my BHO-voting father into buying two 6920s from Ray Tanner on GB. I told him to buy 5. They've since dried up at his $1199 price and true auctions have them upwards of $1700 already! I hope he smacked himself in the forehead. He had $6k sitting in a file cabinet developing a real musty smell and should have spent it on FIVE of them, not just two.
ETA: I'm not saying I wanted him to buy them so he could turn around and try to make a quick buck. No, I wanted them in the family :)

I guess all this overtime I've been working is good for something besides making me tired...

I bought 4k more 5.56 last June - RIGHT before the prices went FULL panic-tard. And I still pick up 30rd AR mags (MOSTLY PMags), when I find 'em new for under $13 (NOT hard) at my LGS's.
Otherwise, I don't "NEED" anything else. I HAVE two built spare lowers, 5 rifles, and enough springs, pins, and LPK's to build 4 - 6 more lowers. Gotta couple spare BCG's, so I'm watching the noobs panic, mostly. :jester:
p.s. - Geez... I GOTTA read the dates on these things... :rolleyes:
