Don't you just love tariffs now?

They could have done this the whole time.

I can't express the rest of what I'm thinking without a string of expletives and derogatory terms, so I'll just say, "Thanks, Donald."

Without a steady flow of illegals (mules) it will now fall to the Mexican military to make sure illegal drug shipments arrive in an orderly fashion.

Sounds to good to be true.

...but it does sound good.

I was just thinking that. And given the Mexican military's stellar reputation on the border I don't doubt it.

I misunderstood the purpose. I thought Mexico sent them to the border to keep the California wackos out and prevent them from ruining their country, too.

If only that were true...I’d be 100% in support illegal, I mean undocumented emigration. #nohumanisillegal #paybackisabitchmexico

The Mexican military won't be interfering with the drug mules. Mex military already works directly for the cartels and escorts drug shipments and VIP's into the U.S. The ones who don't work for the cartel in Sonora have been told they may come out of their barracks during the day to peacock but better be inside come dark or they are dead men. The 15,000 are purely for show. Like all of Trumps plans he threatens major action, the other side wakes up, does a couple jumping jacks to make it look like they are on board then promptly lay down and goes to back to sleep, business as usual. The only thing that might possibly have a chance in hell of changing anything is Free Americans going down to the border to stand in their way, but they cannot be bothered so I guess we had a good run. The people behind all this will keep it up until enough Mexicans and Central Americans are in the U.S. the guarantee a Dem forever victory in 2020. With the narrow 2016 victory in mind they have probably already brought enough here to swing it.

Oh it is...too good to be true. I copied this off my facebook feed this morning. It was a reply written by a well known retired Border Patrol Agent in Southern Arizona.

The "Wall" is only a small part of the problem. The biggest problem is the Do Nothings in Washington. Both parties want open borders and it comes down to power and diluting the the legitimate voters. There are too many deeply entrenched Open Borders Sympathizers throughout DHS. As long as we have "Anyone can request Asylum" and get released with a court date 4-5 years in the future we have lost. The asylum seekers that have recently flooded the southern border will NEVER be deported. They will be pumping out anchor babies like rabbits waiting for the Dem's to pass a mass amnesty after Trump is gone. America is not coming back from this insanity. "Congress Passed $4.6 Billion Migrant Funding Bill" as Rome burns!

I meant if "we" interfered with drug mules.

I have been doing that very thing several times a year for the last 3 years but there aren't enough of us to make a dent.

Sadly protecting the border doesn't generate billions of dollars.

I cannot understand why the NG is not federally deployed or for that matter why our AD cannot be deployed to stop this onslaught. I don’t care if a constitutional crisis needs to be declared why can’t the military we spend 700+b on every year not protect our own border? Stop it now and stop every asylum claim. Stop all remittance payments to MX and SA. Actually enforce the law for once.
