What part of the directions weren't clear?

No directions were included....... just the XTMs in a clear ziplock

Not a Mapul XT demo, but this should work for you (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26zAl93ogbg).

You can also use warm water or a hair dryer to make them pliable.

My mistake.....

a) my rail covers are one piece XT rail panels
b) no label or literature was included

thanks for the effort Zippy!

They are a real PITA to get on IMO, as are all the covers like that. Like the previous poster suggested, I have found that heating them up with a hair dryer really hot to soften them just a tad really helped.

I started at one end, rocked it on, and just worked my way down.

I really think heating them up makes it a little easier, and a little easier is just what I needed.

Ahhhh

I'll try the heat and then resort to the paracord method

thanks to all

Actually a combination of heat and paracord worked like a charm........:D

My sincere thanks to all
