Gone. Fired. Led out by security.

Well, that's what I get for relying on an NBC report....Shep stepped down, not escorted out....Nevertheless, he gone.

He was hard to watch 10 years ago. He did nothing but be more of a snarky bitch in the mean time.

Well,,,,, Bye.

Never did care for Sheepturd Smith. The wife always said he had creepy eyes. His "bird of a feather", Judge Napolitano, will be lost without his "buddy" there. Lots of rumors over the years about him and Judge Nap.

Stopped watching network news some time ago...

Yep - I'm certain I'm happier as a result.

Shepherd Smith...never heard of her.

Always seemed the like the kind of guy, that would eat all but one bite of a steak and than complain it was not cooked right.

Dude was probably a 10% tipper to boot

I don't watch network news anymore...but it was hilarious watching Fox several years ago where they had a police high speed chase going live with Step as the anchor. Dude sped down some desert roads, exited the vehicle, and put a pistol under his chin and pulled the trigger on live TV. Shep had to be the one to apologize for showing a self inflicted execution to millions of viewers hahaha

He will likely end up on CNN or NBC where the other Fox retreads go.

Good riddance.

He must have some kind of limited time non compete clause in the contract because he can't start at another network right away. I'm pretty sure he will surface at the communist news network.

Don't have much of an opinion on Mr. Smith. However, Andrew Napolitano is a lion of liberty whose credentials are unassailable. If one's lodestar is freedom and not the orange man, Napolitano is about as good as it gets. His contributions to the Mises Institute are legendary, as are several of his books (Suicide Pact is a profound evaluation of the recent history of executive overreach and extra-constitutional gymnastics).
Napolitano is a hardliner. Skip ahead a few minutes to get to the thesis...

lol thanks

People haven't paid attention and its beyond obvious Nepalitano got paid off or threatened

He went from exposing the GHCQ involvement and getting suspended from Fox to a TDS cheerleader in the span of weeks. Not everyone has the fortitude to tell the MSM their appearance checks aren't worth selling out your soul.

That may have been true, right up till he started smoke little too much of what Shep was rolling. The past year or so he’s gone completely off the rails and some of his recent “legal analyses” have read like a DNC press release.

There need to be a few more cast out over the recent on-air conflagrations. Nap would bookend nicely between Jessica Tarlov and Juan Williams.

I pretty much can't watch that shit.

Even Hannity engages in selective reporting which by it's very nature is partisan. Bring on the Fox News Fembots if people are going to feed me half truths and misdirection, I'm used to attractive females lying to me. It's also funny to watch the left decry "war on women" and then call the Fox News girls "bimbos."

It's all the perfect tragic comedy.

But the day CNN figures out it's time to dump Greta for some hot babes, we might be in trouble.

You can say that after his recent reporting? Jude Nap sold his soul to Disney and has gone full libtard.

You can say that after his recent reporting? Jude Nap sold his soul to Disney and has gone full libtard.Used to be able to count on him to provide a balanced legal view.

Lately appears to be more emotional rants.

I believe Fox gets less credit than deserved for having a team with balanced view points then CNN or similar does.

I did not like Shep for a couple of reasons, but do not mind someone who uses critical thinking to expose more sides of a discussion. Donna Braselle, the blond Obama press secretary (Marie something?), there are a dozen smart, articulate dems on staff at any given time. And yes, even Juan Williams. (Maybe not quite as smart)

Makes for better discussion than anything I see on CNN.

Having raving Trump Derangement Syndrome talking heads does not create “fair and balanced.” Just unhinged.

It should be exceedingly easy to report on the good things Trump has done as well as the less desirable. There are dozens of “news” outlets more than happy to report on the less desirable aspects so Fox does not need a dozen TDS mouthpieces.

What would be refreshing would be objective reporting by all Fox News heads on good and bad aspects without the unhinged factor. No kowtowing to DC political correctness, staunch support and analysis for the Constitution and legal process ( as Judge Nap USED to be), and no glib repeating of DNC talking points. Humorous appreciation of some Trump antics would be refreshing too and not taking everything so damn literal and “serious threat to democracy.”

Trump has derailed a lot of nefarious globalist machinations and should be given credit for that. Any commentator that can’t say one good thing about Trump it any president should be fired for too much bias. I would be willing to praise Obama if he ever did anything positive. If someone points one out I would want to hear about it in the news, too. Objective reporting.

Irrelevant baggage: Williams, Napolitano, Wallace, and it seems a flock of lib chicks (I quit watching when even Hannity went never Trumper in the campaign). I check the Fox website and skip over about 60% liberal rant I could read at MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc.

Some days I come close to wishing AOC gets the presidency so the liberals get the country they always wanted and we get to the rocky bottom of the abyss faster so everyone wakes the hell up and we can start building from a simpler realistic basis, again.

The America you would get for a while would be urban dwellers fighting over food in dumpsters, unrestrained crime and social chaos. There wouldn't be any rebuilding, at least for a generation. Instead you'd have massive loss of life to violence and starvation. It would be an ugly time to live, at least for large population centers. The folks in fly-over country would fare better, and come together for more localized social organization, fending off the refugees from other areas, or being selective as to who gets accepted.

I realize that. But I fear the most likely alternative is continued slow slide into socialist serfdom under a tyrannical oligarchy in which many more lives will be lost and many millions suffer abject poverty and enslavement for many generations. There is a delicate balance of having enough citizens armed to stave this off and not jumping to insurrection, and waiting too long and lose the financial, privacy and armament means to do so.

That is why rather than either of those two futures I would prefer gutting DOJ and CIA and DOS at a minimum in order to cleanse our government of seditious bastards.

I just happened to be watching Fox News while sitting at the airport in Boston. Shep made his announcement and a few people in the room stated “well, that’s certainly different”. I added “I wonder if he is going to pull a Howard Beale, you know, from the movie Network?” The quote slowly entered my mind......”I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!!!” That would have been priceless. Then again, Neil Cavuto just after Shep all but bawled crazy tears on live TV....even better.
