Does anybody know of any reputable machine shops that drill holes for an anti rotation pin in the upper?

Assuming you are talking upper receiver and not tube, I;m just curious, where in the upper are you wanting to locate it? I'm trying to visualize where that would work. where

Probably TDC in the front face right above the gas tube hole like noveske did.

I apologize if I was to vague. I was describing the type of anti rotation pin that is placed right above the gas tube hole, so that it can be used with rails such as noveske and the wedge lock.

I would give John Thomas a call, he’s an AR15 wizard.

I believe ADCO also does it, or used to. Their site has services suspended until 11/1/19.

Adco did one for me for a Wedgelock anti-rotation pin. Maybe a year ago, so I would suspect they still do.

Yup, I’d reach out to John.

Any local gunsmith with a mill should not have an issue doing this if you don't want to send it out.

Are you saying there is no nice, easy alternative? ;)

Curious about the "nice, easy alternative" too. I suspect it's a picatinny clamp.

There are several brands of uppers available pre-drilled. Probably a cheaper / faster alternative to sending one out for the modification. Rainier, VSeven, Noveske, Vltor come to mind and I'm sure there are many others as well.

SOLGW uppers have it already drilled. Thinking maybe that is what he meant. Zev makes them so their uppers may have as well
