I think it says something along the lines of "home made sub-machine gun for the standard 7.62 cartridge"

The first word is translated as "self-made" or "home-made", whichever you prefer. It is a submachine gun, or so it says...

Also, I type too slow.

You spell it b-u-t-t-u-g-l-y!
OK, so I couldn't do much better with just a vice and a file, but man am I glad that our rifles at least look good! I'd be laughing a an army armed with that thing. At least till the bullet started flying! Then I'd be hoping they didn't read the chapter on hardening steel or the chapter on the importance of concentric bores.

It is not 7.62x39. It is not a Rifle.
It is a Pistol(states it in the text"Pistolet") (also says "standard cartridge caliber 7.62"(7.62x25)

I really have no interest in this piece of metal, but, for the sake of accuracy:

It actually says "pistolet-pulemet". "Pulemet", verbatim bullet thrower is a russian word for "machine gun". The two words together are used to describe a submachine gun. Whatever the caliber is , if the description is accurate, that ugly contraption is capable of full auto fire.

If it's home made, then how the hell did they make bakelight mags? Don't you need injection molding equipment/machines?
