No, this is not The Onion.
“The campaign’s motto features the phrase, “Meth. We’re on it,” over an outline of South Dakota, and the ad and posters feature people of differing in ages and races saying, “I’m on meth,” reports the Argus Leader.
Especially funny considering all the people in the images appear fairly healthy.
Farmer, Athletic kids, guy who appears to have a pretty nice house.
"We are on meth and life is good" :jester:
"Meth: We're on it."
Indeed, that is evident.
As Mike Tyson would say, 'that's methed up'.

Well shit, I live here and I’m not on meth.
Is that why my neighbors never sleep, and are always scratching their faces while crawling around on the side of their house like a roach?
We're on another level up here. 5D chess. We're going to hit the whole state with reverse psychology and eradicate the problem.

5D Chess indeed: A video shows Governor Kristi Noem telling the camera, “I’m on meth,” before she explains that “on it” means “on the case of meth.”
In case some of the responses weren't sarcastic -

Marketing firms sometimes miss the mark. (semi-pun intended)

This is what happens when supposedly responsible people try and appeal to "at risk" groups by incorporating what they think is "youth speak."

Of course, citizens of SD were completely shocked and surprised by the ad campaign.
I'd say it did its job. It was nationwide talk for days. I honestly can't remember another campaign about stopping meth.

I’m still waiting for my state issued meth to show up in the mail.
These marketing firms that come up with this crap are not in touch with reality. It's like "New Coke" or "SureJet" airlines.
