The MAB Model D pistol may have some value as it was made in France while under German occupation. If you look at the right side of the slide near the serial number you will see a German eagle with WaA markings and a number. That is the WaffenAmt followed by the inspection office number.

The pistol is similar in design and function as the Browning Model 1922 pistol. Do a search on Google and you will see that some have sold between 350.00-475.00 dollars.

The FN has some interesting stamps, too, but I can't make them out.

The FN also has stamps with the WaA stamp including other stamps that I can't really make out..

I now see that it says WaA140, I looked up the codes here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waffenamt_codes) but need to figure out what it means..

During WWII when the Germans moved into a country and they seized weapons factories in many cases they continued to manufacture weapons under German control. This happened at the Polish plant in Radom, the French companies and Fabrique Nationale in Belgium. The WaffenAmt codes were codes that the Germans used to mark or identify where equipment and weapons were made. Alot of items (probably most) had markings. I have an original P-38 pistol that was made by Mauser (factory code is byf) and the WaffenAmt number is (WaA 135) during WWII. It was brought back by my uncle. Even the holster and magazines have a code, though they can be hard to locate.

You pistol was made under occupation at the FN plant in Liege (aka Luettich) for the Germans. The BE references Belgium.

Though these psitols are WWII and have Nazi markings their overall condition is what will determine their value. Or if it is a rare version of a particular weapon. These ones appear to be well worn.

Out of curiousity where did you obtain them?
