As much as I admire the quality of Hodge stuff...what's your point? This isn't facebook or instagram.

I have 5 of them...what is your question?

I just don't see many mod 2s around. Just discussing. I suppose I could have done that somewhere else. My bad.

I'll chime in. Are Dury's or Aldebridge the only places to get your hands on one new? All I've seen them carry are the Mod 1.5 but never the Mod 2. Is it possible to get a 14.5, either Mod 1.5 or Mod 2, or does that take having special connections or knowing Jim?

Mod 2 receivers have not been available for a while, due to a redesign. Plus they will be made in a different alloy.

Do you know what is different about the new design?

Hodge Defense has a new handguard set to be unveiled at SHOT. It would be great if Hodge would up production of it, so it would be much more available to everyone.

They are going to be shape forgings. As such, very minor aesthetic tweaks. You would have to lay them side by side and really study them to see the difference. The previous MOD 2's were hand forgings, which is basically a billet with closer grain structure. I am unaware of any other ambi shaped-forging lowers.

Sounds like a solution looking for a problem...

Hodge stuff seems too hard to get unless you are in the cool kids club so I don’t even try. Would be nice though.

I have a mod 2 lower. Does anyone know how many were made?

Also, what sets ut apart to my LMT or KAC?

Why don't you analyze them and get back to us on the answer as you continue to up your post count?

I suppose I could do that.

Joel, you have flipped enough of Jim’s parts these are questions you already know the answers to. You have been advertising HT0049, for what we have been told $2500, so are you just fishing the internet looking for an interested buyer?

With all due respect, would you mind sharing with me which parts I have flipped? As of now I have not made any money off of Jim's parts. I have only owned one rifle and this lower, just fyi. Fishing, no. I decided not to sell. Maybe I will later, but I decided to keep it and declined payment from a gentlemen. And I mean no disrespect, but I am not sure why the price is relevant?
