Not the perfect place to ask this question, but I'd like a suggestion on the best way to buy/build a rifle for my son (now 6 years old) with an adjustable length of pull. I may just try to find a .223 Steyr SBS pro hunter mountain rifle and go with it. If I could find one. If not that, I am considering going with a Remington 700 SPS in .223, having the barrel cut and crowned at 20" and getting the stock cut for a much shorter LOP. Would spacers like the kick-eez http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=7398&title=BUTTSTOCK%20PITCH%20SPACER work to extend the LOP as he gets older and grows I'm 6'5" an would rather not buy new stocks as needed if you catch my meaning. I'm not really sure how to proceed. He wants to start shooting and I am encouraging that. He tried my Noveske N4 16" mid, but he's just too little to be able to place his cheek on the stock and be able to align the scope propperly.

Thanks for any help.
