Oddly worded and misleading but:

For an MSNBC poll, the results (46% in favor) are shocking.

You are correct at the misleading question though.

"Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?"

What does that eve mean? Obviously it's worded to make people envision bubba's with ARs on their back to freak people out and vote no. I read it as concealed and it should read "Do you think people should be allowed to openly carry guns in public?" if they specifically mean OC.

It seems poorly worded intentionally.

Even then, still makes 46%...

Weird, I voted in that same poll several days ago and it was at 46%, and says roughly the same number of people had voted no.

Over 3 million votes. I'd dare suspect there's a lot of bot voting because there's nowhere close to 3 million MSNBC viewers.

Weird, I voted in that same poll several days ago and it was at 46%, and says only 17xx people had voted no.

That's in thousands.

1.7 million is the number.

Maybe people got bored with it?

Maybe people got bored with it?First time I've seen a media poll shared by firearm types(facebook, forums, etc.) not heavily skewed to the 2A side. Normally by the time they make it to me, everyone had already made the point.

Same. The poll circulated heavily among social media gun groups a few days ago. The data hasn’t changed in voters nor percentages. It’s either rigged or long expired.

I love these trick question polls

“Should cute puppies be shot?”

Would be less insulting

Or they got the outcome they wanted, saw it was moving towards numbers they didn't like and closed the poll.

Likely more accurate.

Yeah, I've looked at it several times over the past few days and it doesn't appear to be changing...
