Anyone know if and when Aimpoint will do a T-1 with a 2MOA dot?
I have been holding out for the past year just to see if it would be available.

I shit you not, it'll be exactly 1 day after you break down and buy the existing T-1.

Seriously though, I seem to recall hearing that there are no plans for such.

I could be crazy, but I think I remember reading on here that there are plans for a T-2 (or something like that) that has a longer tube for use with lens covers and a 2MOA dot.

I couldn't tell much (if any) difference between my 2MOA M3 and the T1. I bought the T1. I'm not sure I'd by a 2MOA T1 if it was available.

IIRC, Freddie Blish advised not to wait for such a thing, as it was a long way off if it was coming at all.

I believe the T-1 dot is actually more like 3.x anyway.

From what I understand, the T-1 houses a 2 MOA projector from the larger sights, and due to the short tube that makes it <4 MOA. So to get a 2 MOA micro you'd need a 1 MOA projector which does not exist.

Or something to that effect.

Just buy the T-1 because the original Terminator is better. :D

I like the T-1. The dot looks smaller then my other 4 MOA Aimpoint. I however have no experiance with 2 MOA Aimpoints.

The dot size of the M4/M4s is the heat- I was hoping for that in a smaller package...

Tech support @ Aimpoint says it would require a whole new redesign of the emitter etc.

Not for @ all for at least another year if at all was his answer when I asked two months ago.
