I'm selling an Aimpoint PRO red dot scope on Ebay. I had a full price offer from a good buyer I've had experience with in the past, but he's in Thailand. I figured someone here would know if there are any issues or legal restrictions for shipping rifle scopes to Thailand? Never shipped overseas before, bought from him several times but just wasn't sure. Any info is appreciated. Thank you everyone.

ITAR.

Don't do it.

Ok. Thank you. I wasn't sure if there were some restrictions but figured there might be.

I'm sure there are paperwork and time intensive ways to do it legally, but considering those roadblocks and the potential consequences of ITAR violations, it's not remotely worth it to sell a single unit.

Absolutely correct, not worth it. Thank you.

I’d imagine there are organizations that “subtly” supply the Karen and others from the US, so even if you wanted to do so for some reason, it could be done through a US buyer. No reason to knowingly violate ITAR. Nor to risk it ending up on the south.

The odds of you getting caught and the trouble you’d face if caught are so low it’s really a non issue.

Just like running a <16” barrel on a rifle lower or violating 922(r) by having too few US made parts.
