Ragnarok (Review)

Ragnarok is a Norwegian-language drama from Netflix. It's dubbed in English, but the dubbing is done so well you hardly notice it. It's based on Norse mythology, you know. Thor vs the giants. Think Stranger Things in Norway vibe, with a heavy - some times over the top - environmental message. I enjoyed the first season and those who liked Stranger Things will too I suspect. It's quirk in its own way that likely reflects tjhe culture, which is to say it feels unlike a typical US program. My mothers side of the family were from Norway, so I may have and added affinity/bias for this show. A-/B+
