View Full Version : A.R.M.S. #40; What's the attached wire cable for?
I have an older A.R.M.S. #40 Standard for for my Colt and just got a new one for my LMT. Attached to the thing is a thin cable/wire which seems to be a retainer of some kind. What is it for?

its for the "captive nut" don't worry about it.
It's a retainer for people who can't/won't loctite the BUIS on. So when the BUIS falls off, you won't lose all of the little parts you need to put it back on.
OH58D, thanks for asking the question that i didn`t want to ask. <my answer to myself was right>. l o l
