I got this nitrided geissele gas block in a trade and was about to install it when i noticed an odd lookong solid pin stickinghttps://ibb.co/mypZGs5 out of the back aimed at the recevier end. Wholst researching I believe I foind it to be some special block made for the HRT rifle but cannot verify as I cannot find any pics. Can you folks help me here?

I read something about those somewhere...now to remember what and where. I think it was meant to quickly orient the block over the gas port with a corresponding notch in the barrel/shoulder. I will see if I can find a link.

Yed it absolutely does. Same side that the regular G blocks are.

The signature rifles have the same keyed gas block.

Most likely from one of their Signature or Super Duty rifles/uppers.
Those all have the barrel Miller for that index pin.

The Duty rifles/uppers may have had that done also.

I just looked at the gas port and compared to another G gas block and it is DEFINITELY a smaller diameter. Gotta try to find a way to get a piv for you guys as I'm sure someone would happily pay a cloned amount for it or trade me something i need...
