P mags how long can you leave them loaded

30rd PMags, how long can you leave them loaded with 28rds before the springs get weak?

A. PMAGS are true 30 round magazines, downloading them doesn't aid reliability nor is it very helpful in seating them on a closed bolt.

B. How long have they been out? Magazines from the first runs have been kept loaded without ill effects according to magpul and a few different posters with their own tests.

I re-read your question....Springs DO NOT set nor lose strength from being compressed. It's the repeated "springing" that weakens them...so as far as the springs are concerned, dare I say indefinitely.

I've got a two year old PMAG on my desk that has been loaded since it was born without the impact cover. No issues.
