Stupid Noob Colt 6920 Question

I took possession of a new colt 6920 today. I've read that the rifle is supposed to be 30" overall collapsed. Does this not include the flash suppressor? Because when I measured mine it came out to approximately 32" with the flash suppressor installed. Just curious.

Only if the FH is permanently mounted. IE - pinned/welded

so then my rifle should be around 32 inches with the flash suppressor attached correct?

I believe there is some confusion with the measurements listed in some places and they mistakenly list the length of the M4 which has a 14.5" barrel rather than the actual 6920 which comes wth a 16" barrel. I have a 6920 and it measures about 32" overall with the stock collapsed. This is of course including the flash hider.
