First off if this is the wrong forum I apologize mods.

I'm wondering if any of you have any information you can post, or could point me in the direction of a current post, reference stock lenght and weight i.e. vltor, sopmod, magpul.

I have had the chance to compare the vltor and sopmod. The vltor is obviously lighter in weight and seems to weigh less as well. I don't know the exact specifics though. I'm also wondering about the magpul ctr. I know the ctr's lenght is 6 and 3/4 inches. Does any one know how it compares in lenght to the other two mentioned? I have checked both vltor and lmt's web page but have not been able to find much information for comparison.

I have tried a search but apparently my search fu is weak.

Thanks for any help guys.

I've used the standard collapsible stock, the CTR and the Ace SOCCOM. I cannot express how impressed I am with the Ace product. The CTR is also excellent, but the Ace is super strong and gives you more places to grab and/or carry your gun.

The ACE is nice but I have two issues.

1) The tube wiggles in the receiver - I had to use teflon tape to snug it up. A guy in my last carbine class has the same issue.
2) I had the sling attachement method. Even after lock tite on that screw, it still gets loose and I'm afraid the rifle is going to hit the ground.

Hmm, it's lighter AND it weighs less too?

I know, I know, it's from TOS, but there is still good info to be found over there.
