What is your take on a BOL shelter made out of sandbags will with 80% sand 20% water?

Do a search on earth bag construction, if you have the right soil/clay mixture it is a viable cost effective building method. Caveats, it is labor intensive and you have to plaster over the bags to protect from UV because even UV resistant bags have a short lifespan if exposed to sunlight.
