What buffer to use on a

Colt M4A1 SOCOM upper? AUTOWEAPONS says it is required that I use a H2 for bolt bounce. Is that true? I have a regular buffer right now.

I have a LMT upper 14 1/2 inch barrel and I was using an H2 but switched to H because the light loaded stuff would eject the spent casing but wouldnt strip the next round it was just a little to heavy for plinking ammo! through in a H buffer and problem dissappeared. If you plan on shooting hot 223 or 5.56 you shouldn't have trouble with a H2.

I think Grant said that many M4's are now shipping with an H2.
