EVERYONE remembers the Chippendale's spoof, with Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley on SNL, but the FUNNIEST skit that night, was, "The White Trash Bed & Breakfast."

Hopefully, it'll play for you.

Probably NOT "under-rated," but since I couldn't find his very FIRST SNL skit ("The Crosby Show" - Malcolm Jamaal-Warner was the host in '86, and Phil Hartman played Bing Crosby), here's my favorite SNL "commercial."

Having a hard time coming up with most underrated. Probably the one with Hartman playing Reagan and the premise is he thinks he's still an actor but playing the President. It was political but still funny, then sometime in the very early 90s is became all political and very little was funny. When Tina Fey and Amy Pohler became the primary writers the show just sucked hard.

This is probably the last thing that was funny to me.

I always loved this short.. Peyton Manning always had this straight image and that's what made this so damn funny to me..

Celebrity Jeopardy with Norm Macdonald playing Burt Reynolds. Any of them. Comedy gold.

Also, they designed the perfect car for the affluent living in shady neighborhoods

But I digress... SNL hasn't been funny in decades and RIP Phil Hartman...

Best thing to come out of SNL in the past couple of decades was Celebrity Jeopardy.

Liked Al Franken before he got into politics.

Franken was a huge douche even then and he is the reason SNL got killed in the first place. When he did the skit "Limo for a Lamo" criticizing NBC president for poor ratings and suggesting that people write in to NBC to demand that Franken also be given limousine service, Fred Silverman instead decided to non renew everyone's contract.

Franken was expected to take over for Loren Michaels as executive producer and instead was not invited back along with the rest of the SNL cast. In 1981 Dick Ebersol took over as executive producer with a new cast that included Joe Piscipo, Charles Rocket and Gilbert Gottfried. By 1982 Eddie Murphy, Robin Duke and Tim Kazurinsky had joined the cast.

Ironically the early 80s and the new cast would produce some of the best SNL skits of all time. ETA: Looks like they don't actually host the Limo for a Lamo skit. But here is an overview.

Well its hardly underrated but this one is a friggin Classic. There is to many to list from back in the day that's for sure & me being an old fart I use to watch most Saturday Nite Shows. New ones suck 110%, its bad enough they suck but they go on forever it seems. They have some funny people still on the show but the writting is terrabile ! Kate Mckinnon is pretty dam funny I will say along with a few others. Its just a shame cuz it is an iconic show that has lost its way !

The best one was with David Spade and Christina Applegate when they both started losing it in the middle of the skit. It's a shame about Farley, like Belushi he really carried the show, but like Belushi he destroyed himself. It's something I'll never understand about people who become wildly successful.

I can understand why somebody who has nothing, whose life is a disaster might go down the road of drugs, alcohol and other destructive excesses...but when you have everything...why would you risk it? Give me that kind of money and fame and the most extreme thing I'm gonna do is milk and cookies. Hell I don't screw around with anything now and I'm hardly rich or famous. Don't drink, don't smoke, never did drugs...but I still want to enjoy this ride for as long as I'm able. Don't need any of that shit, give me a decent pepperoni pizza and a nice fizzy coke and I'm good to go.

It's not SNL, but one of the best character breakings of all time was on the Carol Burnett Show with Tim Conway. Yeah, I'm dating myself.

Yes Sir, I agree on all parts! Spade & Applegate crack me up just as much as Farley,, classic funny for sure! Also on the abuse part,I always say WTF when stuff like that happens, its very sad. Same happens with Pro sports guys,,there worth millions but they just gotta go back home and do stupid stuff or think they are above the law. I was a BIG Belushi fan also considering I am a bit older and grew up watching him and SNL,,he was awesome, plus I think that whole crew was the best total combined cast, just so many talented people. There have been many outstanding people on SNL through the years but never such a "complete" crew I don't think ! Anyways not to get sidetracked I'm trying to find some other skits that were crazy funny but like the Chevy Chase & Richard Prior one some are hard to find. He is such an big ass now but Alex Baldwin did some funny stuff back in the day & there is a Wayne/Garth & a Bruce Willis skit I'm trying to find,,,all good stuff ! I'll keep lookin ! :)

I was going to say this one before I even got to page 3. It's probably the last SNL sketch I laughed at. The follow up one was good, but this one is the best. Also, does anyone remember Schmitts Gay Beer? Obviously would never get made today. 3/4 of the skits Farley was in were made better just by him being in them.
