Good luck. That will end up in the Supreme Court as long as the companies don’t settle, which they may depending on the election results.

That is assuming they win.

Daniel Defense shaking in their boots now.
That is total, yet believable bullshit.
To be expected when the deck is stacked in your favor, re. Federal Judges.

Time for a judge recall!

That is why the Dens were so eager to get Trump out of office and prevent his appointing more conservative judges.

That and their immunities/exemptions need to go.
This will make for bad case law. It opens Pandora's Box to product liability claims for all manufacturers, so the ruling should be fought all the way to the Supreme Court.

Why aren't automakers held responsible for crimes committed with their cars? If they can hold little girls responsible for talking their boyfriends into suicide, why won't anyone hold Hollywood responsible for promoting all kinds of socially deviant bs?
Or beer and alcohol manufacturers... How many people die directly or indirectly (drunk driver) from alcohol? The hypocrisy is astounding.

Well, to be honest, other industries have had these frivolous lawsuits too. McDonald's making people fat and such, because it was their responsibility to tell lardasses that they've had enough Big Macs for one century.

I'm suing Dixie for their plastic spoons making me fat.
Freedom doesn't come from federal judges...
I am 100% it will be overturned.

Assuming the plaintiffs win in the first place.
They're arguing under a few assumptions that have yet to be decided officially:
-The weapons sold were weapons of war not designed or intended for civilian ownership.
-Though currently legal, it was common sense that these weapons should not have been offered for sale to the public. Therefore, the gun makers acted recklessly by selling them to civilians.
Of course, that's the point behind it: Get an assault weapons ban passed without actually passing one; the gun companies realize it's too financially risky to sell to the public, and they'll pull their products off the market.
Of course, if it is ever upheld that ARs are protected by the 2nd Amendment, it will be a lot harder to bring these lawsuits forward.

Manufacture liable for injuries and deaths resulting from the unlawful use of their products?
Is the truck manufacture liable for the 11 injuries and 9 deaths in the New York City truck attack a couple years ago? Is Boeing liable for the injuries and deaths on 911?
