The bottom of my SRO is arched. Is this normal? When sitting on a flat surface it sits on the front and rear edges and the middle is raised (when looking from the side). Is this something to be concerned about? Im mounting it in a Glock 34.5 MOS. I have a FCD plate which it is pictured in. When screwed down to spec there is still a slight gap forward of the screws.

Well, I have the FCD plate and an RMR on a G45 and it’s nice and snug and zero gap at the recommended torque specs. I’d have to say something isn’t right here...

I dismounted it from the FCD plate and mounted it to the glock factory MOS plate. Similar results, the gap is slightly reduced compared to the FCD, but still there.

Can’t say I’ve noticed that on my SRO mounted to a Walther Q5. However, I believe the SRO has a sealed bottom so it shouldn’t matter what the flatness is as long as the recoil lugs fit snug and the optic holds zero.

My SRO has no arch, it is flat.

I reached out to Trijicon and they said they weren't aware of this before and requested some pictures. They did say they don't believe it will cause any problems
