View Full Version : Does your mount effect your max elevation?

I switched out some scopes and mounts in a total cluster fktation today. My ATACR gave me 30 mils on one gun, then moved it and it gave me 15 mils then changed mounts and it gave me 35 mils.

Ive never heard the scope over bore effected total come up but....?

Anybody?

You didn’t happen to mix up 0MOA and 20MOA scope mounts? Are you talking about more than one rifle and does one happen to have a 20MOA top rail?

Good question but nope. And I'm talking 15 mils difference which is just nuts.

Edit: you were on track, I had a 20MOA base and then a 20MOA Geissele mount. I'm a moron.
