As the title says I’m looking for US made pants to help better facilitate all of my EDC goodies. I’m looking for a high quality and very durable product. Any recommendations?

Really comfortable and durable. Cargo pants have plenty of pockets and the comfort waist is awesome, especially carrying IWB.

Carhartt

I’m a project manager for a residential and light commercial construction company. I’m very familiar with Carhartt. They are durable pants, but they have -5% stretch and are awful for concealed carry.

Unfortunately they aren't US made.

I like the 5.11 flex defender series of pants. The first generation jeans had pockets that weren't deep enough but I think they fixed that.
They have hidden pockets that can fit m4 magazines on each hip. You'd never know they were "tactical"

They also have a khaki version that work in casual and the office environments..

If you do get the jeans wash them several times because they use a lot of dye and they can't transfer blue to lighter color materials.

They have a slim version, I'd avoid them unless that's your style.

For the life of me I’ll never understand skinny jeans. You can’t move, can’t use the pockets and they don’t ventilate. Dumbest ****ing style ever. Just wear yoga pants if you want them that tight.

Carhartt's are not made in the US, although I'm frequently finding them made in Mexico.

Triple Aught Design is good, but they are on-and-off about making 36" inseams (and back at off). I've generally been happy with them except for the spotty availability of 36" inseams at the best of times.

Prometheus Design Works was started by a guy who used to work at/for TAD and also makes US-made trousers, but, again, no 36" inseams. Nonetheless, I hear good things from guys like Kyle DeFoor.

Crye Precision are comfortable, hard-wearing, and long-lasting IME. US made from US materials. Probably the longest lasting trousers I've ever owned. I think I have a pair I bought in 2012/2013... has a hole in it from a knife and some blue ink stains from being run through the wash with a pen, and I had to reattach the button at the top of the fly, but still very serviceable. Even in solid colors they look super tactical, though. And, best of all, available in very long lengths, as well as very short lengths.

LC King (https://lcking.com/) brown duck pants are quality and they check your Made in the USA need. Even the fabric is USA made.

Duluth trading? They have some jeans that have a touch of spandex, so a bit of stretch. Super comfortable once you break them in. Bad news, says imported, but I think some of their gear is still made in the US.

from their website:
Are any of your products made in the USA?

We're 100% committed to domestically sourcing as many of our products as possible and we do our best to identify imported vs made-in-the USA items in our catalogs and on our website. We're also working toward bringing production of several of our best-selling items back to America. Our goal is to bring you high-quality goods that also represent a great value.

CarharttWhile carhartt is located in Dearborn MI (local to me) and I buy a bunch of their products, most are not US made, which the OP asked for.

Duluth shopped most of their apparel overseas nearly a decade ago. I did notice the statement on their website about being dedicated to bringing it back.

That said, I like their flex-firehose pants. They have a deceptive amount of stretch built in and the front pockets are perfect for a J-Frame in a pocket holster.

Maybe OP could be more specific as to what his current pants aren't doing specifically and what his EDC loadout is? When you're getting recommendations ranging from Haggar to Crye you probably left some pertinent info on the table...

I wear Vertx currently and they work well, but my current pants are reaching the end of their life. I’m pretty hard on clothes so I need something durable but i don’t want the “tactical” look. I’ve been trying to buy US made when possible hence my post. I’m simply doing a little research before i buy 7 pairs of pants. Has anyone tried the First Spear pants? https://www.first-spear.com/centurion-pants

Triple Aught Design is USA made, I have zero experience with them myself, too pricey for me right now.

I also wear Vertx Phantom Ops pants. They hold everything I need them to while not looking too much like a pair of tactical pants. Be sure to get the version with the privacy flaps on the rear pockets. They have a cheaper made version that costs the same but lacks many features.
