Looking for sling management ideas for storing/transporting a short barreled AR with the Law Tactical folding adapter.

The rear portion of my slings are attached to the Right side (ejection port side) of the rear of the stock.

Maybe Ranger bands will suffice?

Post pics if ya got em.

I’ve seen some things like these but have no experience with them.

I'm left-handed so stowing the sling was simpler for me.

If your goal to have the sling still retained by the bands when you open the stock? If so, I'd place a rigger/ranger band on the buffer tube as close to the folder as I could, with another band further back on the stock. With the stock locked into position s-fold the sling on the stock as you normally would (left side of stock) leaving enough play in the slinf to make a single s-fold at the foremost band. That should enable the sling to mean fairly taut from the front attachment point to the first s-fold.

If your foal is to deploy the sling as you unfold the stock, simply put a band on the stock and with the stock folded, s-fold the sling on the outside of the stock (right side). You should be able to get the sling taut in that manner.

Being left-handed, I use the sling mounted on the left side of the stock, with the front of the sling mounted forward right. For my purposes I simply folded the stock and s-folded the sling on the right side of the stock ensuring it was taut across the rear of the folding mechanism. I thought I'd be able to grab the sling and extend the stock in one motion - didn't work smoothly when the sling was loosened for me to wear it, so I just extend the stock and use my right hand grab the sling before the s-folds and run the sling overhead and under my right arm.
