Has anyone heard what the wait time is now on rifles that have been ordered from Noveske? They ARE WORTH THE WAIT!!!
i have an n4 ight recce ordered, sherri told me about a week ago it would [in my case] be right before the first of the year,,,,,we'll see, i reckon, and i agree with you,, they are worth the wait.
i was told to check back in mid Dec 2 weeks ago on ordering a N4 Low profile basic
I ordered a Recce Low Pro 16 on the 3rd of November. Got in just under the wire I guess. I have a new Aimpoint N4s to mount so I guess it will be "lonely" for a little longer.

I thought it was lowers mainly holding up rifles, but it seems like uppers are a long time out. I was told 8-10 weeks for my SPR ordered 11-7.
I wonder if complere rifles are taking longer than uppers still. If I'm going to wait that long, I mine as well just get a complete rifle?
If they are having issues getting SWS rails, feel free to knock out some VIS based uppers ;)

I called Noveske on the phone the other day. They told me that they'd hope to have full rifles available online in limited quantities in 5 weeks time. They told me that there was a 6 to 8 week wait time on uppers. Right now they won't guarantee ship dates. They said everything they are making right now is shipping out to fill existing orders.
Got a E-Mail from Sheri at Noveske, Looks like it may be after the 1st of the year.

Did you inquire on the ETA or did Sherri just email you. I ordered a 6.8 upper around the same time and haven't heard anything. I don't mind waiting for quality, just anxious
At one point, I was considering one from LMT; but after having owned the Noveske n4lr, I'm going for a second from Noveske! Definitely worth the wait and am in no hurry! :cool:

Mil-Spec. I ordered just the complete upper (this one (http://noveskerifleworks.com/cgi-bin/imcart/display.cgi?item_id=u-lrb-556&cat=48&page=1&search=&since=&status=)).
This is what got from Sherri: Unfortunately I have no lead time for complete rifle orders. We'll try to get them out asap but it could be beginning of next year before we move current orders." They have got to be pulling their hair out. They make one of the finest AR out, so I have no problem waiting..

I agree my N4 Low-pro is my favorite by far.
i have a full rifle on order since late october, Im in no hurry, she's worth the wait...:D

Humm, I ordered my SPR on the 6th and from what Sheri says I'm a ways out. Interesting you got the Basic so fast. I wonder if standard parts like that are in stock but things like the VLTOR and SWS are holding things up. Hopefully by Christmas!
I ordered a barrel and MUR on Oct 8 and still cant get them to tell me how much longer its gonna be.

I've been waiting since early Oct. They are running out of parts everywhere, ACC flashhider for example wouldn't be available until mid Dec, so I ask for Vortex, they run out of that too, and I have to wait for the VIS, with no ETA. So yeah, the entire supply chain is delay.
I called to order a lower only a few weeks ago and was told the wait time was 6 months.

Man, I ordered the exact same thing Nov 8 and Im from Louisiana too. Im still waiting on mine but now I'm even more excited than I was. I guess it should be here soon. Its literally consuming my thoughts 24/7.
Took 3 weeks to get my N4 Reece Basic. Well worth the wait!! Their customer service is awesome.

I received and email that said estimate on it and it told me how much everything was. I was just wondering if this means they have processed the order or if it was just a confirmation email of some sort.

I know exactly how you feel. It's like waiting for and anticipating that second date with the woman that you had such a great time with on the first date :p
You should get an email from UPS on behalf of Noveske letting you know when it ships and the estimated delivery date. Whereabouts in Louisiana are you from?

With all of my previous orders I have received an email with shipping/tracking info but not this time. I ordered an N4 Light Recce Basic on Nov. 3 (online) and received it this Monday. My dealer just called and said it was in, I was pretty surprised. I assume they're really busy and thats probably why I didn't get an email.

Yea, I got that pdf estimate a couple of weeks ago. I was just wondering if there was any other email sent that let you know if it shipped or not because I was thinking there would but I havent seen anything yet. I was actually thinking I might not see it untill after the new year but a couple of yall are saying you got yours last monday and I ordered mine the same week as yall. I would think that mine should come in this upcoming week after hearing that. Ill give it a week and if its not here by Friday I might give them a call. Im so anxious. I was going to get a Noveske N4 recce low profile upper but found an LMT MRP piston in stock. FYI, I got an email today from Ann @ Noveske quoting a 4-6 week wait on the upper. Not too shabby, I'd have gotten it had she sent me the email Monday. That's a better lead time than many other places.
anyone know if you order a upper if they charge you when they place the order or when the item is about to ship?

Not in my case. FWIW...ordered October 31 (N4 Light Recce16", Basic W/VIS, Smith Vortex), credit card charged November 4...haven't heard a thing since.

I ordered 11/18. Sherri said it would be 6 to 8 weeks. Joel said 2 to 3 weeks. I don't know who to believe or when to expect my upper.
I hope you guys are getting lied to, otherwise I'm gonna start to get resentful.

Depends what you order really, for example, VIS wouldn't be in stock until another 2-3 weeks, so I am still waiting for the upper I ordered early Oct.

I did not recieve my upper last week so I sent an email Friday morning trying to get a status on my order and havent heard anything yet. I havent been charged yet so I guess that means it hasn't shipped. It's wierd how a couple people ordered the same thing as me a few days before me and got theirs two weeks ago. One of them even lives a few hours away from me. I must have ordered it at the wrong time. Now it will be that much better when it arrives. The anticipation is killing me.
a manufacturer is limited in what they can produce by what they can get.. if their material suppliers are having trouble keeping them stocked with forgings and barrel blanks, they're going to have trouble producing a product.
could be they ran out of barrel blanks a day before you ordered.
i know their handguard manufacturer is probably having trouble keeping up.. SWS is a small operation. no handguards, no completed uppers.
MURs are in ultra high demand, and are basically unobtainable.. could also be contributing.

Yea I ordered a light reece upper/no rail so it isnt that or the mur because the upper has the standard receiver. I understand that they are limited to the supplies they get it so I guess I will have to wait. No big deal

I spoke with Noveske this morning and they said it should be about another two weeks before I get my upper. So we'll see. If thats true it will have taken 6 weeks total so thats not too bad. Its going to be a long two weeks.

Don't get on them too much. When I ordered a few months ago they told me 4 weeks. Got it in 10 days.

I ordered a 12" Crusader upper with MUR and switchblock on Oct 6th. I received it two days ago. They were having a horrible time getting the MUR upper receivers. I Put 350 rds through it yesterday on my M16 lower. It's a nice upper.

It's not soooo bad guys! I ordered my pof 308 and they don't get there guns out to you for a minimum of 20 weeks!
i also ordered an n4 recce basic about the middle of nov., sherri said at that time it would about the last week in dec. the appointed time has got to be getting closer, no need to try to call, you can;t get through. good things come to those who wait, so i've always heard.
N4 basic lite is available by 1 online seller right now. Dont know how many stock on hand.

I was told that all they are out of is Vltor uppers with no time table for delivery now. Days, weeks or months! I was also told that when the Vltor uppers become available that that doesn't mean that my upper will be shipped, because they may use my parts ( cannibalize) to make someones upper and when they get to mine they may be out of BCG's, barrels, or charging handles (or whatever). How nice.
Again, so much for " 2 to 3 weeks, tops. We have all the parts to make yours."

I was told that it would be 2 weeks and they had all the parts too. I wasn't holding my breath but atleast I got my order in before they stopped accepting them! Joel is the one that told me this but when I called back later that evening and talked to Sheri, she said "wow, I thought it was 8 to 12 weeks?, lets see if we can hold them to it." Obviously her guess was much closer.

I've got my Eotech with LT mount, Nikon Tactical 2.5x10 ill mil dot with LT mount, complete Noveske lower, and thousands upon thousands of rounds.
Now I just need an upper.
Got the Email yesterday that my Low Pro shipped. M4s and 3x magnifier is waiting for it's arrival.

I spoke to Sheri today and she said to start checking the website in the next 6-8 weeks to see what they had in stock at that time.
I bought a lot of ammo and paraphanila in the 4 month wait :p

I ordered mine on the 3rd of November. They are building orders now for the dates in november. You should get yours soon. Mine is due to arrive at my FFL's this friday.
I ordered a 16" N4 Light Recce Basic and a 10.5" N4 Light Shorty Lo-Pro on Nov 24. the LRB arrived back on Jan 20, but the LSLP is still on backorder. I just called Sheri today to confirm that the order is still in their system.
Seems like Noveske is getting some product out the door.

When The Day comes, I may throw a party. Look for the sign in Stafford, VA that says "Found Here: Strippers, Blow, and Upper Receiver Groups." Just without any actual blow, it'll just be on the sign to attract more strippers.

Quite a while ago. I would say end of Nov. early Dec. for uppers and before that even for full rifles.
i ordered another n4 light recce on nov. 14, talked to sherri a week or so ago, she said lowers was the problem but they had some coming in,,,got shipping notice yesterday. should have an n4 on the 9th----worth waiting on, to me,,,

IIRC it was around the second week of November. They got slammed with orders the day after the election and for another week or so until they stopped taking orders.

I just picked up one of the Noveske middy uppers from SGC this evening. Have a LaRue 11.0 sitting in the safe waiting to be installed. I will chop, Dremel, grind, and Norrell's molycoat the gasblock to fit under the LaRue handguard.
I just checked them out. If they had a rail system instead of the gay ass handguards I may have been tempted.

I've whined about when I ordered my upper enough, already.
Word's in, scheduled to arrive in 3 days. My gunboner is of respectable size, right now. :D
They seem to be on a roll - got word mine's gonna ship on the 13th after I ordered in Dec - now if only I wasn't in Iraq I could be playing with my new toy!

What did you guys order? I ordered my upper on Nov 17th and still have not heard anything. My upper has the Vltor MUR which is what I think is the hold up. Did you guys order MUR's as well or standard uppers?

N4 Light Carbine VIS Low Profile Upper, ordered 13 Nov, but with a SF MB556K instead of the Smith Vortex. That's the MUR-1A that it's built on, is it not?
Mine was the 14.5 SS Afghan upper with MUR.

Broke it in as a part of an official test today, so the ammo was free, on top of just being plain happy to get it after a 5 month wait.
Now I need a damned can for this thing. The brake works great, but, as expected, the blast gets me unfavorable marks in the Works and Plays Well With Others box. :mad:
