Just watched this, overall I liked it a lot. Decent gun play and tactics, found myself “rooting” for the “bad guys”.

Check it out.

Had on my “list” to watch for a while, got around to it Friday night.

Gunplay was cool. Ending was terrible and 100% logically unbelievable. Couldn’t root for either side, every single person was scum of the earth.

Seen it a couple times. The premise was good. The ending I thought was very contrived. The whole of LA and they just happen to know what route the robbers took? And how did they figure out the score was the reserve? Maybe I missed that.

Also, in the ending shootout the top cop was firing his SCAR from his biceps.

The prom date in the garage scene was awesome. I’m stealing that. Someday my daughter will go to prom......

Not bad overall.

I liked it OK. Not great, not bad. I hate it when they get military service all wrong, which is an easy fix. The tactics were decent enough but the explanations of what they had done, where, and for how long were lacking.

Thanks for sharing the review! He hit right on the head for me, found myself cheering for the "bad guys".

Didn't realize this movie came out in 2018, I thought it was another Netflix direct release.

Yeah...."HR desk at 29 Palms..." (no such thing as a base HR desk, and there's no MARSOC at 20 Stumps...." MARSOC FAST?? The black guy, the driver, was 'active duty for 2 years,' you do at least 4... little stuff like that drives me nuts....

So a blatant ripoff of Heat, without any of the sophistication or realistic operations.

Then the problem of the head of the regulators is mostly a scumbag and has a crew of scumbags. And of course the ending sucked.

Had neat parts like deploying a SAW in traffic but what was up with guys ditching rifles in favor of handguns?!?

They tried to build tension in the "procedures" and the clock ticking in the Fed, but rather than true suspense they mostly just annoyed me. Wasn't like the timing demands of Heat or even Ronin.

Also some parts were just dumb, the guy just happened to be baited by the gf of the bad guy?!? Really?

It's like somebody saw Heat and said "Let's make a better and cooler film" and failed in both areas. But there was one bright moment, it looked like live firearms with blanks rather than CGI muzzle flashes, it was nice to see that again.

I just watched the, "opening armored car robbery," from the movie on YouTube.

What a crew of Waingros.

If Heat is an A+, Den of Thieves is a C.

If Heat is an A+, Den of Thieves is a C.

Heat was a masterpiece. Den of Thieves is more of a black velvet painting of the same.

I agree on all points.
