How many options are out there for this, and why is it not a more popular option? It seems to be wildly popular with the Micro sized optics.

SKD has a riser to add to the factory QRP mount.

The SKD/Arisaka risers will also work on any aftermarket mount. I have mine attached to a Bobro QR mount.

How do you get them to work with a A.R.M.S. or ADM mount?

I believe that the higher mounts have been driven by the NV guys and seeing that's about shooting passive or behind the red dot the micro RDS rule as they dont take up as much real-estate allowing you to get behind them with your NODs. I dont run any taller PROs or COMPs for this reason. I do personally like the added height and find it faster and more natural than the typical lower 1/3. Having BUIS will be an issue in most cases with the 1.93s.
