Ill tell you ALL I admire & respect the police-God bless yall for the shit yall put up with.
But Im saying this now because many of you need to hear it- yall need to decide now, today, RIGHT NOW, what side of decency..I DIDNT say "law"..yall are gonna side with when CW2 starts.
You need to make a decision TODAY if you are going to follow gun confiscation orders from law abiding citizens..if your gonna try to arrest people for mowing down looters, thugs beating people, throwing Molotov cocktails, ect.
You need to decide where you stand on being told to do shit YOU KNOW isnt right. Because Ill say it here myself- WE GOT YOUR BACK, AT PERSONAL RISK, right up until you start doing immoral, wrong, unconstitutional shit- then by damned your own your own.

I will admit to meeting a few awfully rotten and also plan bad apples in my lifetime so far; however, I have also met a few really cool men. I can separate the wheat from the chaff in my thoughts and feelings. In fact I made the acquaintance of a Harris County Sheriff a few weeks back.

When I was in the FD my LEO friends would say you can go to someone’s house cut out their roof and wall throw everything they own out into a muddy drive flood their house and the next day they bring you cookies and thanks

I read one of the threads related to the whole Floyd mess, and was shocked to see it had turned into a bitch session on terrible cops.

Then I saw this thread, and wanted to thanks the very few that have posted on it.

I am very concerned that if conservatives are infected with police are bad along with the left, we will see people leave the police in droves. I can hear the internet commandos now, great I got my super shooter and can't wait for the day we get it on.

I raised my kids in a if not a war zone then for sure a terrorist zone. My kids school bus was escorted by IDF jeeps, on the roof of the school was a sandbagged bunker with a belt fed and lads with M16 with M203.
My kids lost friends, due to terrorism as early as the 5th or 6th grade.

It is great having a thin blue/green/tan line between you are the barbarians.

I don't think it's time to demand that law enforcement pick a team. The reality is they have people who want to see them expunged from society and other people that recognize that they are necessary for society although there is some room for improvement, especially in certain zip codes.

The time for "pick a team" is after they have been declared unnecessary and then it will pretty much just happen.

Please continue to resist “executive orders” that you know carry no weight of law. If you are ordered to shut down a business by force, but not a violent riot: something is terribly wrong, and your agency is probably run by mob-groveling selfish spineless traitors.
