Sorry to hear. He was a true champion of conservatism as well as a hell of a musician. Got to see his band, Marshall Tucker, and Lenard Skynard at a show back in the mid 70s. RIP Charlie.

RIP Charlie. One of the few post-Classical performers I've actually LIKED.

Expect the Canceltards to take a run at him for "This Ain't No Rag, It's A Flag" soon...

Not a big fan of southern rock / country and only really knew him by that one song, but seemed like a solid guy and all that. RIP Mr. Daniels.

I am a fan of Southern Rock and I’ve been kinda bummed since I heard of his passing. Sure gonna be some good music in Heaven though...
