I'm just fed up. Look at the Portland situation. They have been rioting every night for something like 53 nights in a row now, the Portland mayor has done nothing to stop it. He says it's peaceful protesting, but just looking at the video footage of the "protesters" and their continuing violent assault on the federal courthouse and federal officers disproves that. The DHS held a press briefing today explaining why they were there, (everyone should watch this) explaining why they arrested the guy and put him in the van. They explained that they were there on their own authority. Trump did not send them there. Yet Nancy Pelosi is saying they're "Trump's Stormtroopers." The media saying they are Trump's gestapo. It's all deception and lies. I think the Portland mayor is withholding the police to force the feds to act, so the media and the Democrats can spin it as "Trump's facist jackbooted thugs abusing innocent peaceful protestors" It's all such a blatant set up. Yet so many people in America are falling for it. So many are just taking what the media tells them at face value, they don't question it or bother to put in the effort to find the truth themselves, because "Orange man bad." Journalism is dead. I'm fed up with the the media and the Democrats lying to the American people, I'm fed up with the stupid people who accept those lies as the truth. It pisses me off.

So did you just watch Fox News for the first time or what?

None of this is in any way new. Think you are upset now, wait until you discover that a lot of Republicans are also FOS and conservative media outlets also operate on an editorial bias.

Goes back over a hundred years--some photographer was told to get photos of the Spanish-American War when it wasn't even expected never mind declared, and Pulitzer told him "get me pictures and *I'll* supply the war." Coincidentally, USS Maine kB!ed in Havana Harbor soon after...

No I don't get my opinions from Fox news, I read and watch a variety of sources, mostly raw footage, and form my own opinion. I don't know why more people aren't willing to do this, they don't understand that the media lies by omission. You're right, it's been happening for a long time already, I've known about it. This year is different though. The riots, the assaults, the murders, from leftist radicals, they're emboldened. DAs let rioters out of jail yet prosecute people who exercised their right to self defence, even though they never hurt anybody, like the McCloskey's. The taking over and occupation of parts of cities by groups like BLM and Antifa, the Democrat mayors letting them do it while at the same time calling for the defunding of police, all the while violent crime explodes in cities like Chicago and New York. This wasn't happening before 2020, not to this degree. The blocking of roads, mobbing cars that try to slowly drive through and in some cases shooting the driver with a gun. When is enough enough? The media doesn't even try to sound reasonable anymore, they're so blatantly slanted, you'd think people would catch on to what they're doing. Seems worse than ever this year doesn't it? Or maybe I just finally hit my boiling point. What can we do? How can we effect change. Of course we can vote, but what else? I've been speaking up, people don't want to listen, my own sister called me a racist for sending her footage of leftist violence. I've signed petitions, donated to people who've been ****ed over, contacted my representatives, tried to get my voice out there online, that ain't easy, they ban you and shut you down for wrongthink. The left is so organized and entrenched, they've got the media on their side, they've got the big tech companies on their side, they've got tons of millionaires and billionaires on their side all too willing to fund the cause. One good thing is I think a lot of conservatives have had enough of the nonsense and are getting very pissed off. Count me in as one of them.

DA Mike Nifong suppressed DNA evidence that would have exonerated the defendants in the Duke LaCrosse case.

Armed militants took faculty and students hostage at gunpoint to demand major changes to the policies and curriculum at Cornell University and not only were they rewarded for their efforts, they were seen as civil rights heroes.

The founding members of what might be the most dangerous terrorist group in the US, the Weather Underground were allowed to "negotiate" their surrender. One went on to become a professor at a large university, the other became a prominent lawyer. Both became powerful influences in mainstream politics.

None of this shit is new. It's not great now, but hard as it is to imagine it's been worse in the past. And it's been better.

Various groups and entities compete for our dollars and support and generally give us only half the story.

That picture should have been video showing a computer tower, notebook, newspapers and magazines following that TV out the window. To spice it up, those devices should be followed out the window by media pundits themselves being heaved out. If You're going to kill the venue the media uses, why not go to the source of the evil?

Several of the TVs at work are often on CNN or MSNBC or the like and it is just NON STOP attacking of anything even resembling a conservative or patriotic view of this country. It would be hard to believe if you don't see it for yourself. How they manage to find so many people with such a myopic view of the country and the world is amazing in and of itself. Listening to the these babbling fools acting as though they just can't fathom why DHS now has a presence in Portland and congratulating each other on their interpretation of the government over reach is enough to almost make one physically ill. As I've said, want to avoid the chance of police encounter going bad? Obey the law! Want to keep federal police out of your city? Use your own law enforcement to, oh I don't know, ENFORCE THE LAW! How about that? So easy a democrat could understand it. But the media is all in on orange man bad, socialism good, country inherently racist. You simply cannot get one of these lemmings to understand the greatness of a country that took less than 100 years to end human slavery that had existed since Man has walked the Earth. It's obscene and absurd and not getting better any time soon.

So I see the issue is that they still have a base that eats everything up. I look at my boss, a well-to-do woke white Lady with no kids, who other than living in her nice suburb, only travels to California, New York or Europe for vacations. She visited Santa Fe and Taos last winter and couldn't believe how nice it was, and how nice people were, but, in her words " there were so many Trump stickers" on cars. There are a lot of bubble people who never really want to be uncomfortable, but those who seem to have experienced discomfort seem to understand and push more conservative views in my opinion.

This could go here or in the doxing thread, but news agencies stop being news agencies when they put people's lives at risk. I'm not talking accidentally publishing something they shouldn't but rather making a consciousness effort to put people's personal information out there for nefarious reasons. Allegedly, the New York Times was prepared to publish an article putting out Tucker Carlson's home address. He already has been threatened once, now the NYT planned to do it to him formally?

https://thepostmillennial.com/was-the-new-york-times-about-to-dox-tucker-carlson-of-course-they-were

Silver lining though...

Within hours, an army of conservative Twitter accounts started publicly posting the address and personal information of the reporter Carlson identified as the story’s writer. Many encouraged people to harass the reporter.

He identified the reporter behind the story as Murray Carpenter, airing his photo and calling the freelance writer a “political activist.” Carpenter’s website states that he focuses on science and environmental stories, and has written for the Times, The Post and National Geographic, among other outlets.

Carlson also mentioned photographer Tristan Spinski and the Times’s media editor Jim Windolf by name.

“How would Murray Carpenter and his photographer, Tristan Spinski, feel if we told you where they live, if we put pictures of their homes on the air?” Carlson asked. “What if we published the home address of every one of the soulless, robot editors at the New York Times, who assigned and managed this incitement of violence against my family?”

He added: “We could do that. We know who they are.”

The lies have become the truth and the truth has become the lies. Example operation covid19.
It’s not hard to manipulate the masses with disinformation. It’s also being used to call into question reputable people’s credibility (cancel culture) who continue to speak the truth.

Here's an example of the media using the freedom of speech to silence other's freedom of speech. They are/were going to use their media venue to expose Tucker Carlson's residential address so that they could at the very least harass him and his family simply because they don't like his point of view.. pretty much the correct one IMHO from what I've seen of him. It backfired on them though or at least on the person writing the article for the NYT. This is just crazy that the NYT would purposefully do something like this, but it seems to be par for the course these days:

The USA is paying the price, for ignoring for all practical purpose a KGB operation to destabilize the country,
that started before I was born. The first fruits of this operation was the radicalization of the university campuses in the 1960's. The people that were students back then, are now the leadership of the media and the democratic party.

But the students of the people that are now in their 60's and 70's, are the real radicals, having been taught total BS at school.

In an other thread someone showed a clip of a former KGB officer, who explained the whole operation. He also told the truth, when he said these people can not be reasoned with nor their minds changed.

So if you think it is bad today, it is only going to get worse.

In closing, only one thing can save the USA and prevent to rise of the USSA. I just don't think, the people have the stomach to do what needs to be done.
