Know we have had some of these posts but these days very few shows or movies are worth watching IMHO so please share some of yours :) does not have to be history based just figured I would stick to this for my post :)

As a history buff these are a few history channels I like
I do have subs to various hobbies of mine of course but History often spreads across most folks so here are some that I seem to watch for various reasons

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfCKvREB11-fxyotS1ONgww/featured

Garand Thumb and Vickers Tactical are my two favorites for guns and gear.

For good political stuff, Colion Noir, Officer Tatum, Mike the Cop, and Prager U are all really good.

For my cooking/brewing hobby, I like Binging With Babish and Larry Beer and BBQ.

We have been hooked by a travel blog with a couple nice adventurous Tennessee kids that hit 100 countries in 4 years.

Maybe because we seem to have shared travel beliefs:

- Don't like waiting in line for museums and tourist stuff
- Really appreciate airport lounges
- Wife is always cold
- Husband hates shopping

Trent Palmer- bush pilot
Mike Patey- Aero engineer make it happen guy
Drachinifel- Insights into Naval warships
Greg's airplanes and automobiles- So you think you know WWII fighter planes. Really. You don't. How about a 2 hour dissertation on supercharges, MW50, fuel octane and altitude...
Ask an escort: it's, well duh. And its free.

WOW- As I was writing this there was a huge BOOM outside. In my PJs Pocket my CCW and a flashlight and head outside- kid had skidded his parents Tesla across an intersection and onto a houses front lawn, all the way to their porch. Kid was AMPED. Cops and FD come, we watch him get a mini drunk test, which he must have passed. THere is a dip in the intersection, and he must have caught it and lost control.

Usual gun channels.

Yes, nice Honu, I had seen these.

Forgot Paul Martin; He's a Brit with a pretty amazing background.
Started as an electrician at the British Museum, was fascinated with Nihonto, became the Curator of Asian Antiquities (at the British Museum), lived in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese.
I met him in San Francisco years ago at an NTHK sword exhibit and spent some time with him. (I've collected Nihonto for years)
He was on a couple History Channel Nihonto programs.

I've become huge fan of Tim Pool's channels. He started off pretty lefty and it's been a blast to witness his red-pilling in real time. I've actually started to prefer getting some of my news from him after Drudge went full TDS. He's gone from non-gun owning "reasonable restrictions" to owning several among other drastic shifts.

I've been listening to Bear Independent and Forward Observer while I reload.

A mishmash of others:
Black Pigeon Speaks
Louder with Crowder
Garand Thumb
Colion Noir
Liberty Doll
Engineer Bruns (russian guy that does skits with machining)
Paul Joseph Watson
Impact Shooting
Plasmo (if you're into scale modeling)
This Old Tony

For laughs:
Good Patriot
Demolition Ranch
Black Rifle Coffee
Polenar Tactical
Tundra Tactical

The two aren’t mutually exclusive. That experience doesn’t validate him.

In fact, his shooting of butchered meat as ballistics validation is laughable at best. He’s advocacy of birdshot and .22lr for defensive use is dangerous.

Again, Paul Harrell is an idiot.

Seeing what projectiles do to meat and bone seems like a decent thing to know.

Concerning rimfire, bird shot, muzzle loading projectiles, and who knows what else, every time I have seen him demonstrate any of them it is just a demo and not a claim it is what needs to be used.

Cool, I’m not sure what seeing butchered meat tells you, but if that’s your thing, then you do you. There is a reason no credible agency or ballistics expert advocates using butchered animals for ballistics testing.

Haha, I watch them too, not every episodes but a lot. Since covid19, they came back to the US and bought a Mercedes camper/van. Have you seen those? Nate almost electrocuted himself at least once, and then he almost blew himself up while searching for a gas leak with a lighter! I had to shake my head on that one.

Kara looks like a cheery, happy young version of a woman who used to be my best friend but we've had a falling out in the last 6 years or so. LOL.

I just wonder how the heck can they afford to travel and not work. I know they sold everything before they went off on their adventure, but sheesh, you're blowing your young life's saving.

I also been watching another travel video with another young couple, Eric and Allison:

Another cooking channel with Pai:

Yup. We like the international travel more but their van life vlogs are getting lots of views.

Which is exactly how they keep up their life along with sponsored content and Patreon donations. Google how much YouTubers with 1.5M subscribers can make from views...

We watch Endless Adventure as well. They look to be stuck in remodel fun for now.

Nate almost electrocuted himself at least once, and then he almost blew himself up while searching for a gas leak with a lighter! I had to shake my head on that one....

I realized that I am rather smart after watching that...

Other than that, it seems I share a lot of YT channel tastes with you guys.
I think Schola Gladiatora has probably the best historical 'pointy things' channel going; nearly professional production and content value.

Aside from the usual guns, politics, pointy things, history, and 'other stuff' fare, I've been enjoying Aquaholic's channel. Because I love torturing myself by looking at expensive power yachts I will never be able to afford in several lifetimes.

For gun stuff I also like InrangeTV, Forgotten Weapons, as well as MrGunsandGear, and Military Arms Channel for reviews, because if a gun is going to suck, for sure MAC will find out exactly how it is going to break and/or malfunction.

I also like Military Aviation History and Chieftan's Hatch. Great interior overviews of all the cool flying and rolling stuff from WW2.

For 'turn your brain off' stuff, well... everything listed here between this list and the others here pretty much IS all my brain/off stuff...

I've also been enjoying watching the Critical Role D&D campaigns. The cast is hilarious, and it's great for brain/off use or for playing in the background and sort of half-watching when exercising or cleaning guns or some other boring task that only requires 50% of your attention.

It’s also a podcast. His series about WW2 in the pacific is greatHaven't gotten to that yet. I put him on when I have a lot of time. I did the whole ww1 show while painting all the doors and trim in the house. The one about capital punishment throughout history was very interesting as well Caesar's Gallic wars, specifically the siege of Alesia.

I'm going to be repainting the whole house so I have a feeling I'll be listening to a lot more

I sporadically watch a variety of gun channels depending on what the content is. Like I watch Chris Bartocci’s Colt related content but not a lot else from him. I’ll watch other channels like MAC or Mrgunsandgear if they are reviewing a specific product I have some interest in.
I still like Forgotten Weapons even if I don’t watch most of Ian’s vids these days. InRange can still put out interesting content even though Karl is starting to kind of grate on my nerves of late.
C&Rsenal is an excellent channel that I almost never watch.

With what’s coming in this country I recommend Forward Observer’s content. Although he can be a bit spotty with his upload frequency. My understanding is that he may have some medical issues though.

I think what I actually enjoy the most on YouTube are scathing reviews of movies and TV. One of the channels I watch for that is Critical Drinker

I also really enjoy videos exploring weird internet rabbit holes and creepy mysteries. So I tend to watch a lot of videos on the Nexpo channel, and others with similar content.

I also watch a shit ton of random wildlife and paleontology videos
