AR parts suppliers & shortages

I was browsing Rock River's website today, and all of their model configurations that use the old-school A2 buttstock had this note:

A2 BUTTSTOCKS ARE CURRENTLY ON INDEFINITE BACKORDER

Now, in today's AR environment I wouldn't imagine that the A2 buttstock would be a high-demand item, but I stand to be corrected on that. There seem to be plenty of BCG's, handguards, barrels, etc. to go around, but I don't know about all the other various build components. Any persistent shortages of certain parts?

Been wanting another complete, assembled AERO upper for a while now. Hard to find and when I have seen them they were a lot more than I am accustomed to paying for them.
